Wolfville Acadian - Thursday 20 January 1927 Page 5 - Local News - Mr. and Mrs. Everett Pineo and family, who for some time back have made their home at Lynn, Mass., returned here this week bringing the remains of their son Earl, who died on Sunday. It is understood that they will probably remain in Wolfville, where many old friends sympathize deeply with them in their bereavement. Earl was seventeen years of age and a popular and promising young man. His death was caused by an absess on the brain. He held the responsible position of chief inspector at the A.E. Little wood heel factory in Lynn. He was a member of the Y.M.C.A. and in regular attendance at the Baptist church. On the same page - Wolfville Boy Dies in Massachusetts - The remains of the late Earl Pineo, son of Mr. And Mrs. Everett Pineo, who recently died in Lynn, Mass., arrived in Wolfville by the afternoon Eastbound train last Tuesday. A short service was held in the Ladies Waiting Room by Rev. R.P. Dixon, after which the body was taken to the town cemetery for interment. The pall bearers were composed of the deceased's Sunday School class, he, while residing here, having been a member of St. John's Sunday School. There was a large attendance at both the station and the grave. Much sympathy has been expressed for Mr. and Mrs. Pineo in the loss of their fine promising son.
