    3. James E. Wynot 1939 Bridgewater Bulletin The death of James Enoch Wynot, son of the late Enoch and Ann Wynot, occurred at his home at New Germany on Tuesday evening, November 21, following a lengthy illness. The late Mr. Wynot, who was only 53 years of age, was well known in the community, having been highway foreman for the past six years. He was a member of Pine Grove Lodge, No. 111, and the members of that order attended the funeral service in a body. He is survived by his wife, formerly Miss Ethel Wynot, R.N., of Providence, Rhode Island; two nieces, Misses Ethel and Mabel Wynot, who resided with their uncle; one sister, Millie (Mrs. B.V. Clarke), of Providence; and one brother, Austin Wynot, of New Germany; also a number of nieces and nephews. The funeral service was conducted at the home on Thursday at 2:30 p.m. Rev. Clinton Veinotte officiating, and was attended by a large number of friends. Interment was made at Lakeside Cemetery, the service being conducted by brother Oddfellows. The pall bearers were Brothers Clarence Mosher, Charles Varner, Damiel Morton, and Charles Wynot. Beautiful flowers testified to the high esteem in which the deceased was held. The sympathy of the community is extended to the bereaved family.
