Thelma Ruth MacPherson 2007 Halifax CHronicle Herald Thelma Ruth MacPherson, 94, Parkdale, passed away Tuesday, December 11, 2007, in Shoreham Village Nursing Home, Chester, where she had been residing. Born at Parkdale, she was a daughter of the late Albert and Mabel (Saunders) Frank. She was a member of Parkdale Emmanuel United Baptist Church and was involved in various community groups and organizations during her active years. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Surviving are her daughter-in-law, Susan MacPherson; granddaughter, Tammy MacPherson; grandson, Terry MacPherson, all of Simpson's Corner; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Danny; son, Barry; sisters, Florence Kelly, Laura Collicutt; brother, Carl Frank. Visitation 7-9 p.m. today in Sweeny's Funeral Home, New Germany. Funeral 2 p.m. Thursday in Emmanuel United Baptist Church, Parkdale, Rev. Jennifer Joudrey officiating. Burial will follow in Parkdale Community Cemetery, Parkdale. Family flowers only.
