Born at Barrington Passage, she was a daughter of the late Arnold and Hazel (Brown) Barkhouse. She is survived by a son, Gerald, Barss Corner; two daughters, Susan (Mrs. Donald Drew), Halifax; Kim DeLong, Chicago; two brothers, Eugene, Byron, both of Cornwall; two sisters, Faye Robar, Blockhouse; Gladys Hubley, Cornwall; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Winfield; a daughter, Janet Elaine; a brother, Carl. The body is in Sweeny's Funeral Home, Bridgewater, visiting 2-4, 7-9 p.m. Sunday. Funeral will be 11 a.m. Monday in Barss Corner Baptist Church, Rev. Karl Uhrstrom officiating. Burial will be in Barss Corner Community Cemetery. Family flowers only.
