Mrs. C.R. Grant 1927 Bridgewater Bulletin New Germany, July 2- The death occurred on Friday morning, July 1, at the Victoria General Hospital, Halifax, in the sixty-first year of her age, of Annie, wife of Colenzo R. Grant, of Barss Corner. Deceased who had been in poor heath for a long time was taken to the hospital about two months ago, in hopes that surgical aid would effect a cure. Although making a poor recovery from the operation, she lingered and death at the end came rather suddenly. Mrs. Grant was the daughter of the late Wiswell and Mrs. Nichols and besides her husband is survived by brothers, George, at home; and Randolph, Timothy, and Kenneth in the United States; and by sisters, Satira, widow of Edward Eaton, at home; Mrs. Harriet Burgoyne, Mahone Bay; Mrs. Freelove Moland, Chester; and Miss Lois Nichols, Mahone Bay. The funeral services will be held Sunday morning with burial in the Baptist Cemetery at Barss Corner and will be conducted by the pastor, Rev. H.W. Hutchinson.
