Vera Belle Emeneau 1982 Bridgewater Bulletin Vera B. Emeneau, 79, of Upper LaHave, passed away suddenly at the Mahone Nursing Home on January 30, 1982. Born at Upper LaHave, on December 28, 1902, she was the oldest daughter of Leaman and Emma (Wentzell) Naugler. During the early years of her life, she was employed in the Boston and Cape Cod area of the United States where she later married and began her family. During the early 1930's, she returned with her husband and family to Upper LaHave whre she resided until last August when illness caused her to reside at Mahone Nursing Home. She was a member of Mt. Olivet Lutheran Church and Lutheran Church Women, a member of Woodbine Rebekah Lodge #53, and a former member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Dayspring and District Fire Department. She is survived by her devoted husband, Earl Emeneau; three daughters, Daisy (Mrs. Victor Buonopane), Malden, Mass.; Anita (Mrs. Gordon Oickle), Rhodes Corner; and Betty (Mrs. George Joudrey), Pine Grove; two sisters, Jessie (Mrs. Bert Aulenback), Upper LaHave; and Mrs. Gladys Demone, bBridgewater; two brothers, Paul and Lorraine of Upper LaHave; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by two sons, mother, father, and two brothers.
