UNKNOWN PAPER - 13 DECEMBER 1962 BESSIE ELLA HIGGINS - Truro - Mrs. Bessie Ella HIGGINS passed away at her home early today following a lengthy illness. Mrs. HIGGINS was the wife of the late Slaytor HIGGINS and resided in Truro most of her life. She was born at Belmont - 87 years ago and was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Issac ROODE of Belmont. Mrs. HIGGINS was a member of the Missionary Alliance Church. She is survived by one son Ronald, Truro; and two daughters, Muriel (Mrs. Lawrence MacCALLUM), Bible Hill; and Pearl (Mrs. BECKHAM), Middletown, New York; also seven grandchildren and one great grandchild. The late Mrs. HIGGINS is resting at the Mattatall Funeral Home, from where funeral service will be held on Saturday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. W.C. TROYER officiating. Interment will be in the Belmont Cemetery, Belmont.
