Born in Kentville, he was a son of the late Albert Brown. Surviving are his daughter, Cheryl Blenus, Conquerall Bank; son, Stephen Brown (Joanna Mowatt), Bridgewater; grandchildren, Shawn, Derrick, Ryan; sister, Marjorie Reid, Kentville; half-brother, Gerald Brown, Kentville. He was predeceased by sister, Hazel King; brothers, James and Ted. Visitation 2-4, 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, funeral 2:30 p.m. Thursday, both in Sweeny's Funeral Home, Bridgewater, Rev. James Haughn officiating. Burial to follow in Brookside Cemetery, Bridgewater. Memorial donations may be made to Canadian Diabetes Association or Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia.
