Freda Myra Robar 2005 Halifax Chronicle Herald >From the collection of Charlene Veinotte Freda Myra Robar, 91, Chelsea, passed away October 8, 2005, in Arborstone Enhanced Care, Halifax. Born in Chelsea, she was a daughter of the late Wallace and Alice (Oickle) Mailman. She is survived by son-in-law, Richard Oakes, Chelsea; great-grandson, Kyle Oakes, Chester Basin. She was predeceased by her husband, Wilbert; daughter, Beulah Oakes; grandson, Larry Oakes; sister, Lyda; brother, Irvin. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. in Sweeny's Funeral Home, Bridgewater. Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday in Chelsea Baptist Church, Pastor Tom Davidson officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, Chelsea. Family flowers only. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to South Shore Regional Hospital Foundation, Bridgewater or the charity of your choice.
