Audrey Crouse-Bigham 1981 Bridgewater Bulletin Audrey Crouse-Bigham served as a nursing supervisor at several area hospitals. She died of cancer, October 24, at Mount Sinai Medical Centre. She was 45. Mrs. Bigham, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Everett Crouse, of West Northfield, lived in Cleveland Heights, Ohio. She received her nurse's training in Canada, before going to Cleveland and joining the staff at Mount Sinai. She became head nurse before leaving there in 1966. >From 1966 to 1968 she was head psychiatric nurse at the Hanna Pavilian of Lakeside Hospital. She returned to Canada for studies and received a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing in 1972. Later, she held positions at Huron Road and Woodruff Hospitals before being named director of nursing at Baldwin Manor Nursing Home. Sshe earned a Master's Degree from Case Western Reserve University last year and was named physchiatric nurse and clinican at St. Luke's Hospital, where she did council and group therapy for adults and children. She is survived by her husband, Jack W.; stepchildren, Barbara Ann,Jack W. Jr., and Bonnie Jean; two sisters, Marion (Mrs. Rex Bruhm) and Naomi (Mrs. LeRoy Oickle), both of West Northfield; and two brothers, Earl of West Northfield and Aubrey of Bedford.
