Magdalene Helena Claudette Porter 2001 Halifax Chronicle Herald Published: Tuesday, November 13, 2001. >From the collection of Gwen Christie Magdalene Helena Claudette Porter, Black Point,passed away November 11, 2001, in the VG Site, QEII. Born in Lunenburg, March 6,1927, she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Helena (Tanner) Knickle. She will always be loved and never forgotten by her husband, Glenn Jack; daughters, Heather (Louis) Graham-Dickinson, Pamela (Alex) Ferro; sadly missed by grandchildren, Amanda, Angela, Charles, Ann, Abigail, and Alexandria Dickinson; Marco and Melanie Ferro; aunt, Charlotte Countway. She was predeceased by her brother, Fred. Cremation has taken place. No flowers by request. A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. today in Ronald A. Walker Funeral Home, Tantallon, Rev. Richard Walsh officiating. A family interment will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory to St. John's Anglican Church Restoration Fund, Lunenburg.
