Emile Marie Surette 2004 Halifax Chronicle Herald Published: Thursday, July 29, 2004. >From the collection of Gwen Christie Emilie Marie Surette, 98, Villa St. Joseph-du-Lac, Dayton, formerly of Wedgeport, passed away on Tuesday, July 27, 2004, in the villa. Born May 25, 1906, in Wedgeport, she was a daughter of the late Leander and Catherine Ann (Muise) Surette. She was a homemaker and was a member of Wedgeport Seniors' Club. She is survived by sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Boudreau, Wedgeport. She was predeceased by brother, Arthur; sister, Frances and Georgina. Visitation will be from 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today with prayers at 8 p.m., both in H.M. Huskilson's Funeral Home, Wedgeport. The funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, July 30, in Saint Michael's Catholic Church, Wedgeport, Father Weslaw Papuga officiating. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Saint Michael's Parish Cemetery Fund.
