Eleanor Alice Joudrey 2005 Halifax Chronicle Herald >From the collection of Charlene Veinotte Eleanor Alice Joudrey, 73, Bridgewater, died October 18, 2005, at home. Born in Maitland, she was a daughter of the late Allen and Alice (Ernst) Ernst. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Bridgewater and an active member of Christian Women's Club, and past vice-president of Bridgewater Senior Citizens Club. She is survived by companion, LeRoy McLain; daughters, June (Jim) Tibbetts, Oxford; Susan (Gary) Richards, Pleasantville; Cathy Allen (companion Lenny Frank), Herman's Island; sisters, Audrey (Ivan) Rhodenizer, Oakhill; Gloria (Lloyd) Martin, Mader's Cove; Mayola (Jim) Canton, Oakland; granddaughters, Amie (Chad) Haughn, Sarah Richards, Eric Allen (companion Dan Barkhouse), and Amanda Allen. She was predeceased by her husband, Harris; sisters, Mary and Myra; two infant brothers. Visitation 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday in R.A. Corkum Funeral Home, Wileville. Funeral service 11 a.m. Friday in St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Bridgewateer, Rev. Keith Crouse officiating, assisted by Rev. Willis Ott. Burial in Brookside Cemetery, Bridgewater.
