UNKNOWN PAPER - SAMUEL TATTRIE October 25, 1964. Samuel TATTRIE died in the Lillian Fraser Memorial Hospital on October 25. He would have been 91 had he lived until December 1964. He was born at French River Colchester Co. His wife the former Miss Minnie DOREY, of St. Margaret's Bay, predeceased him five years ago. Surviving him are three daughters, Mrs. Marion SPINNEY, Mrs. Alex MacDONALD, and Mrs. Helen MILLET, five sons, Elzie, Laurie, Harold, Bernie, and Lloyd; sisters Katie and Millie; brothers Fred and Bert. The funeral was from Sharon United Church Tatamagouche, on October 27, with the Reverend Robert MILLS conducting the service. The Hymns sung were "The Old Rugged Cross", "Safe in the Arms of Jesus", and "Rock of Ages". The pallbearers were Roland, Dick, Dennis, Blair, Carson, and Basil TATTRIE, all grandsons of the late Mr. TATTRIE. The floral tributes were many and beautiful, showing the affection in which the deceased was held. Burial was in the family lot at French River. The deceased had lived all his life at French River.
