Maureen MacKinnon, 71, North Queens Nursing Home, Caledonia, formerly of Hunt's Point, passed away peacefully August 11, 2006, in North Queens Nursing Home. Born in Halifax, she was a daughter of the late Thomas and Bernadette Ratchford. She was a member of St. Gregory's Catholic Church, Liverpool, as well as the Ladies Auxiliary. She is survived by her husband, Sandy, Yarmouth; daughter, Angela Langley (Sheldon Broome), Hunt's Point; grandchildren, Thomas and Francesca. She was predeceased by brother, John. Visitation and prayers will be held Sunday, August 13, from 7-9 p.m. in Chandlers' Funeral Home, Liverpool. Funeral service will be held Monday, August 14, at 2:30 p.m. in St. Gregory's Catholic Church, Liverpool, Father Brian Murphy officiating. Burial will be in St. Gregory's Catholic Cemetery, College Street, Liverpool. Family flowers only. Donations may be made to St. Gregory's Catholic Church.
