Durward Chester Haines 2006 Halifax Chronicle Herald Durward Chester Haines, 80, Farmington, passed away on Sunday, August 6, 2006, in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in Farmington, he was a son of the late Harold and Cora (Hirtle) Haines. He was a retired local farmer, trucker, and school bus driver. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family. Surviving are his daughters, Linda (Blaine) Moffatt, Farmington; Nadine (Wesley) Eisener, Kingston; sons, David (Terre), Farmingron; Harold, Digby; Mark, Alberta; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; three nieces and three nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, the former Enid Ruth Morton; sister, Alice Wagner. No visitation at the funeral home by request. Funeral 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in Sweeny's Funeral Home, New Germany, Rev. Patricia Gow officiating, with burial to folllow in Parkdale Community Cemetery. Family flowers only.
