Rena Leola Page 2001 Halifax Chronicle Herald Published: Monday, October 1, 2001. >From the collection of Gwen Christie Rena Leola Page, 96, East Jordan, Shelburne County, passed away peacefully September 29, 2001, at Northwood Care, Halifax. Born at East Jordan, she was a daughter of the late James B. and Helena M. Jones. She was post mistress in East Jordan for many years, following in her mother's footsteps and was a faithful member of Jordan Falls United Baptist Church. Surviving are son, Phillip (Gael); grandchildren, Graham (Angela), Karen (James) Cossar, Brian, all of Halifax; great-grandchildren, Brennan, Chloe Page and Rena Cossar; stepdaughter, Tara Phillips; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Albert; sisters, Margaret and Grace; brothers, Earle, Thomas, Hastings, and John. Visitation 7-9 p.m. today in H.M. Huskilson's Funeral Home, Shelburne. Funeral service 2 p.m. Tuesday, October 2, in Jordan Falls United Baptist Church, Rev. Donald Dunn officiating. Burial in Pine Grove Cemetery, Shelburne.
