Frances Eveline MacPhail 2006 Halifax Chronicle Herald Published: Saturday, September 9, 2006. >From the collection of Gwen Christie Frances Eveline (Houghton) MacPhail passed away on Thursday, September 7, 2006. Frances died peacefully in her 86th. year, with her husband, Harry and niece, Noreen, at her side, in Hillside Pines Home for Special Care, Bridgewater. She was the loved wife of Harry MacPhail; mother to George and Wayne and grandmother to Amanda and Beckey. The family wishes to thank the staff and residents of Hillside Pines for their kindness towards Frances while she was with them. The family will receive friends from 1-2 p.m. on Monday, September 11, in R.A. Corkum Funeral Home, Wileville, with the memorial service to follow directly at 2 p.m. Burial in Brookside Cemetery, Bridgewater. In memory of Frances, donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
