Marshall Percy Mosher 2003 Halifax Chronicle Herald Published: Saturday, February 1, 2003. >From the collection of Gwen Christie Marshall Percy Mosher, 78, Gold River, passed away January 30, 2003, in Fishermen's Memorial Hospital, Veterans Unit, Lunenburg. Born at Gold River, he was a son of the late James and Maude (Swinamer) Mosher. He was a veteran of the Second World War; was a member of the Western Shore and District Fire Department; and was a member of St. Mary's Anglican Church, Gold River. He was actively involved in many community organizations, including the Western Shore and District Minor Hockey Association of which he was a founding member. He is survived by his wife, Norma (Zwicker); daughter, Gretchen (Loring Langille; grandson, Jason (Joanne Contant); sisters, Sophie Millett, Helen Kennedy, Stella Hines, Linda McGregor; brothers William (Louise), Hiram, Sterling (Nita) and Charles; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brothers, Paul and Neil; a sister in infancy. Visiting will be 7-9 p.m. Monday in Mahone Funeral Home, Mahone Bay. Memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday in St. Mark's Anglican Church, Martin's Point, Rev. Tom Kerr officiating. A reception will follow in the lower level of St. Mark's Church. Burial of ashes will be at a later date. Flowers from the immediate family only please. Memorial donations may be made to Fishermen's Memorial Hospital, Veterans Unit or any charity of choice.
