Lillian R. Corkum 2005 Halifax Chronicle Herald >From the collection of Charlene Veinotte Lillian R. Corkum, 89, Bridgewater, formerly of Pentz, died Saturday, May 7, 2005, in Queens Manor, Liverpool, surrounded by her family. Born at Petite Riviere, she was a daughter of the late Herbert and Wilhelmina (Wamboldt) Jenkins. She was an adherent of West Side United Church, Pentz and a life member of the U.C.W. Unit 1. She was also a life member of LaHave Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. She is survived by her daughter, Gwen (Grant) Wile, Pentz; sons, Robert A. (Karen), Bridgewater; Graham (Mary Lou), Pleasantville; sister, Shirley Harmon, Petite Riviere; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Lloyd R.; son, Gerald; sisters, Olive and Margaret; brother, Harold; granddaughter, Cathy; great-grandson, Morgan. Visitation 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday in R.A. Corkum Funeral Home, Wileville. Funeral service 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, in West Side United Church, Pentz, Rev. Nancy Ritchie officiating, assisted by Rev. Willis Ott. Burial in St. Peter's Anglican Cemetery, Pentz. A reception will follow the service in West Side United Church Hall. Family flowers only.
