C. Kline Falkenham 2006 Halifax Chronicle Herald Publication date: Saturday, June 17, 2006. >From the collection of Gwen Christie C. Kline Falkenham, 87, Lunenburg, passed away Thursday, June 15, 2006, in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born at Rhodes Corner, he was the son of the late Howard and Olive (Wagner) Falkenham. Kline served with the West Nova Scotia Regiment during the Second World War and after the war, worked all of his working career with Smith and Rhuland Shipyard in Lunenburg, retiring in 1955. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Lunenburg. He is survived by his wife, Helen, Lunenburg; sister, Olive Nauss, Bridgewater; and a brother, Sherman (Ruth), Rhodes Corner; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his daughter, Linda Falkenham on May 18, 2006; sisters, Ruth Wagner, Velma Meisner, and Juanita Falkenham. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Dana L. Sweeny Funeral Home, Lunenburg. A graveside committal service will take place at a later date in Hillcrest Cemetery, Lunenburg. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Zion Lutheran Church or Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia.
