Russell Ellis Nauss 2007 Halifax Chronicle Herald >From the collection of Charlene Veinotte Russell Ellis Nauss, 78, Lower Cornwall, passed away peacefully on June 30, 2007, in Queens Manor Nursing Home, Liverpool. He was the oldest son of the late Banford and Dorothy Nauss of Middle Cornwall. Russell was a fun-loving and caring man who loved his family and friends. He was an avid deer hunter who enjoyed hunting trips with his friends. Family and friends always enjoyed the stories he told of his hunting adventures. Russell was a good listener and was always there for advice or when needed to lend a helping hand. Russell is survived by his wife, Claudia, Lower Cornwall; sons, Paul and David; daughter, Barbara; grandchildren, Heather, Alan, Hailey, and Shelby. He was predeceased by grandson, Vaughan Galligan. Visiting will be 7-9 p.m. today in Mahone Funeral Home, Mahone Bay. Funeral service will be celebrated 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 3, in St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Middle Cornwall, Rev. Virginia Cookman officiating. Burial will be in New Cornwall Memorial Gardens. Memorial donations may be made to St. Mark's Lutheran Church, New Cornwall Memorial Gardens or Canadian Cancer Society through Mahone Funeral Home.
