OBIT # 8283 - UNKNOWN PAPER - 18 APRIL 1959 Stellarton- A highly respected and long time resident of South Foord St., Mrs. J.J. (Annie) Chisholm, passed away Saturday evening in the Aberdeen Hospital after a short illness. Mrs. Chisholm was born in 1876, at Lorne, Pictou Co., a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Daniel MacQuarrie. She was a Presbyterian by faith, and a member of First Presbyterian Church, where she was a valued member of the WMS, in which she held a life membership. She was also a member of the Guild, and took a great interest in the work of the choir and young people's groups. She is survived by five daughters, Alice (Mrs. Lorne Casebier), Medford, Ore.; Esther (Mrs. Cameron Gordon), Westville; Helen (Mrs. Colburn Nichols), Hopewell; Edith (Mrs. Simon MacLean), Brantford, Ont.; Etta (Mrs. Ernest MacLeod), Yreka, Calif.; also by three sons, Bill, Boston, Mass.; Dan, Medford, Ore.; Lloyd, at home; also a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband and one daughter. The funeral will be held on Tuesday with a short service at the home on South Foord St., then to the Presbyterian Church, with interment in Foxbrook Cemetery.(*Her husband was John J. Chisholm)
