Kathleen Louise Bolivar 2007 Halifax Chronicle Herald >From the collection of Charlene Veinotte Kathleen Louise Bolivar, 87, Chester, formerly of Baker Settlement, passed away December 16, 2007, in Shoreham Village, Chester. Born in Maplewood, she was a daughter of the late Garfield and Hazel (Wentzell) Oickle. She was a member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church, Baker Settlement, where she was also a choir member. She moved to Branch LaHave at the age of five and once married, moved to Baker Settlement. Surviving are her grandchildren, Robyn and Trendal; daughter-in-law, Lynn Boudreau; nephews, Gregory, Bradford, and Larry; several cousins. She was predeceased by her husband, Elmer; companion William Slauenwhite; son, Merrill; brothers, Clarke and Rex Oickle; nephew, Boyd. There will be no visitation in the funeral home. Cremation has taken place under the direction of R.A. Corkum Funeral Home, Wileville, where funeral service will be held 1:30 p.m. Friday, Rev. Willis Ott officiating. Burial in Baker Settlement Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Shoreham Village Home for Special Care, Chester, or Baker Settlement Cemetery.
