Geraldine Mae Tanner 2008 Halifax Chronicle Herald >From the collection of Charlene Veinotte Geraldine Mae Tanner, 77, Bridgewater, formerly of Stonehurst, died Wednesday, January 16, 2008, in Fishermen's Memorial Hopsital, Lunenburg. Born in Auburndale, she was a daughter of the late Isaac and Jennie (Hebb) Rhodenizer. Geraldine was a homemaker who enjoyed spending time at home with family and friends. She is survived by sons, James (Tina) Tanner, Grimm Road; Gerald (Janet) Tanner, Garden Lots; son-in-law, Vernon Levy, Buckfield; sisters, Margaret Publicover, West Dublin; Bernice Rhodenizer, Windsor; Edith Proctor, Edmonton; Marion Ewer, Bedford; Marjorie (Calvin) Conrad, Sydney; grandchildren, Whitney, Tiffany, Holly, Crystal, Tracy, Laura, Jessie, Isaac, Joseph; great-grandchildren, Josh, Mackenzie, and Mikalyla. She was predeceased by her husband, Melvin; daughter, Helen; sisters, Verna Fraser and Ruby Corkum; brothers, Raymond and Murray. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Dana L. Sweeny Funeral Home, Lunenburg, with visitation Sunday from 7-9 p.m. and where the funeral service will be held Monday at 2 p.m., Rev. Robert Zinck officiating. Interment will be in Upper Blue Rocks Cemetery, Blue Rocks. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the family, to the Canadian Cancer Society, Canadian Diabetes Association or a charity of your choice.
