Fisher, 71, North Queens Nursing Home, Caledonia, formerly of Bangs Falls, Queens County, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Monday, August 28, 2006. Born at Bangs Falls, he was a son of the late George and Ella (Coombs) Fisher. Cleve was a heavy equipment operator for the Department of Transportation for over 20 years. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. His family was very important to him and he had a love for Newfoundland and fiddle music. He is survived by his wife, Marilyn (Brown); daughters, Nancy Jennings and Belinda (Jimmy Madden), both of Bangs Falls; Cynthia (Craig) Riley, Toronto; son, Barry (Nita), Bangs Falls; 12 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; sister, Dawn Gallant, Liverpool. He was predeceased by sister, Dorothy; brother, Sherman and a brother in infancy. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers' Funeral Home, Liverpool, where visitation will be held today from 7-9 p.m. A private family committal will take place at a later date in Pinerest Cemetery, Greenfield. Family flowers only. Donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or North Queens Nursing Home, Caledonia.
