Madelyn Louise Dolimount 2000 Halifax Chronicle Herald Published: Thursday, November 30, 2000. >From the collection of Gwen Christie Madelyn Louise Dolimount, 85, First Peninsula, died Wednesday, November 29, 2000, in Harbour View Haven Home for Special Care, Lunenburg. Born in Stonehurst, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Emily (MacDonald) Whynacht. She was a member of Central United Church, Lunenburg and a member of the Mary Gormley Unit of the U.C.W. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She is survived by daughters, Geraldine and husband Herbie Zinck, Centre; Janet and husband Merlyn Corkum, Lunenburg; Catherine and husband Wayne Risser, Bridgewater; 13 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, John Joseph; sons, Arthur, Douglas and Robert Dolimount; James "Buddie" Whynacht, two infant children; grandsons,Malcolm and Gregory; great great-grandson, Benjamin; sisters, Leone and Mandy; brothers, Bradford, Douglas, Edwin, and Gerald. Visitation for family only will be this evening from 7-9 p.m. in Dana L. Sweeny Funeral Home, Lunenburg and from where the funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Rev. Grace Caines-Corkum officiating. Interment will be in Hillcrest Cemetery, Lunenburg. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Central United Church or any charity.
