Margaret Jean Jones 1997 Halifax Chronicle Herald Margaret Jean Jones - At the Saint John Regional Hospital on August 29, 1997, Margaret Jean (Baker) Jones of Rothesay, New Brunswick, wife of the late Simeon R. Jones. Born in Pinehurst, she was a daughter of the late George and Laurella Baker. Prior to her retirement, Mrs. Jones was a registered nurse with the VON and also with the Sackville Medical Centre, Sackville. Surviving are stepson, Peter Jones and wife Lottie, Saint John; stepdaughter, Wendy Sullivan and husband Dr. Robert, Orillia, Ontario; several step-grandchildren; step great-grandchildren, niece and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Simeon; stepson, David Jones; brothers, Max and Murray Baker; sister, Dorothy Baker. Resting at Kings Chapel, 154 Old Hampton Road, Fairvale. Funeral service will be held at St. Paul's Anglican Church, Rothesay, today, September 3, at 11 a.m. Interment in Fernhill Cemetery at a later date. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick or the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
