OBIT # 8140 - UNKNOWN PAPER - SEPTEMBER 1962 Stellarton- There passed away unexpectedly on Monday evening, 26 September, Marin Vandermeiren, a resident of this town for many years and well respected by all who knew him. He was born in Belgium and was 84 years old, and one of a family of ten. He came to Canada in 1919 with his family and had lived also in Minto, N.B., and Cape Breton, before coming back to this town. He is survived by a daughter Marie (Mrs. Desire DeBodt), Stellarton; three sisters, Agusta (Mrs. Frank Vandenbarre), Minto, N.B.; Mrs. Henrietta Wellens, U.S.A.; Mrs. Philomen Lefeve in Belgium; also three grandchildren, and several great grandchildren. He was predeceased 21 months ago by his wife, and also 34 years ago by a daughter, Emilia (Mrs. Angela Shibnetti), Stellarton. The remains are resting at the home of his granddaughter, Mrs. Garfield Baudoux, and Mr. Badoux, Pleasant Ave., and the funeral will be held Thursday at 2:00 from Christ Anglican Church.
