Ora Vivian Wentzell 2005 Halifax Chronicle Herald >From the collection of Charlene Veinotte Ora Vivian Wentzell, 90, Grand View Manor, Berwick, formerly of Middleton, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 20, 2005, in the manor. Born on September 12, 1914, in Milton, Queens County, she was a daughter of the late George A. and Rebina (Westhaver) Martin. As a young lady she married John "Edison" Wentzell and they resided in Middleton throughout their married life. She is survived by her children, Murray, Maitland; Gerald (Julie), Upper Dyke; Eleanor Hornung, Kentville; Noreen (George) Brien, Centreville; Yvonne (Ralph) Mercer, Aylesford; 15 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; one great great-grandchild. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She was predeceased by her husband, J. Edison; one sister and five brothers. Cremation has taken place. No visitation by family request. A private family funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 23, in White Family Funeral Home, Kentville, Rev. Ray A. Francis officiating. Burial will take place in Elm Grove Cemetery, Steam Mill, Kings County. Donations in memory may be made to Grand View Manor. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to White Family Funeral Home, Kentville.
