Winnifred I. White 2005 Halifax Chronicle Herald >From the collection of Charlene Veinotte Winnifred I. White, 85, Kempt, Queens County, passed away suddenly Sunday, August 28, 2005. Born in Kingston, she was a daughter of the late Vernon and Mildred (Ford) Knox. She was an avid reader and enjoyed camping. She was a member of Pearle Chapter No. 7, Order of the Eastern Star, Caledonia. She is survived by her son, Harley (Claire), Kempt; foster children, Dennis (Sharon) Wills, Caledonia; Stanley (Kate), Ontario; Patricia Trainor, Ottawa; grandchildren, Mitchell, Kaine, Daune (Shannon), Michelle (Tony) Shupe, Todd (Trina) Wills, Stacey (Larry) Uhlman, Gina (Chris) Pepper; seven great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Ralph; daughter, Peggy; sister, Thelma. Visitation will be Wednesday, August 31, in Chandlers' Funeral Chapel, Liverpool, from 7-9 p.m., where an Order of Eastern Star memorial service will be held at 7:30 p.m. A graveside service will be held Thursday, September 1, at 2 p.m. in Pinegrove Cemetery, Kempt, Rev. John Boddy officiating. Family flowers only. Donations may be made to the North Queens Fire Association, Memorial Fund of Pearle Chapter No. 7, OES, Caledonia or any charity.
