Stella Anne Zwicker 2005 Halifax Chronicle Herald >From the collection of Charlene Veinotte Stella Anne Zwicker, 87, Indian Point, passed away Sunday, September 18, 2005, in Mahone Nursing Home, Mahone Bay. Born in Pleasant Valley, she was a daughter of the late John and Sarah (MacDonald) Baltzer. Stella was a faithful member of the Union Church, Indian Point, where she was organist for many years. She was a member of the Senior Citizens Club, Indian Point, and was an avid fiddler who played for many dances in the area. She will be missed by all those who knew her. She is survived by her loving husband, Max; daughter, Beatrice (Joseph Lohnes), Martin's River; son, David (June) Zwicker, Bridgewater; son-in-law, Steven Varner, East LaHave; sisters, Mildred Burton, Belleville, Ontario; Emma Amirault, New Edinburgh; grandchildren, Jason, Jai, Dorothy, Jillian, Justin, and Jordan, Darlene, Paula, Elizabeth, Joanne, Charles and Monica; several great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. Stella was predeceased by her daughter, Wendy Varner; son, William Carl; sisters, Marion, Margaret, Vivian, and Julia; brothers, Harold, William, Keith, and Percy. By family request there will be no memorial service. Interment will be in Park Cemetery, Indian Point, at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Alzheimer Society of Nova Scotia or any charity through Dana L. Sweeny Funeral Home, Lunenburg.
