Irene Amelia Whynotte 1970 Bridgewater Bulletin The sudden passing of Mrs. Irene Whynotte, widow of Gabriel Whynotte, came as a shock to her many relatives and friends. Born in Barss Corner, sixty-two years ago, she was the daughter of Esrom and Permilla (Raimey) Eisnor. She lived most of her life in Stanburne and New Germany until eleven years ago when she moved to Toronto where she resided until her death. Though in failing health for some time, she was ill only a few days before her death at the Wellesley Hospital on April 9th. She is survived by a son, Gerald and two granddaughters, Patti and Dawn of Toronto; one brother, Willard of Barss Corner; two sisters, Grace, Mrs. Leland Burns of Barss Corner; Nellie of Stanburne and many nieces and nephews. Several brothers and sisters pre-deceased her. The service was held at the Langille Funeral home with Rev. James Crooks officiating. Pall bearers were Basil Wagner, Melvin Silver, Ellis Wile, William Whynott, Kenneth and Fred Seamone.
