Clyde Parker Himmelman 2008 Halifax Chronicle Herald Published: Thursday, October 30, 2008. >From the collection of Gwen Christie Clyde Parker Himmelman, 93, LaHave Islands, passed away Wednesday, October 29, 2008, in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born at LaHave Islands, he was a son of the late Norman and Georgina (Baker) Himmelman. He is survived by his son, Kelly (Sharon) Rhodes Corner; grandchildren, Philip, Donna, Michelle, Erin; great-grandchildren, Justin, Michaela, Matthew, and Christopher; numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, the former Hattie Tumblin; foster daughter, Marjorie Ann; brothers, Herman, Acil, and Laurie; sisters, Freda and Goldie. Visitation will be held Friday from 2-4 p.m. in Sweeny's Funeral Home, Bridgewater, where funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, Rev. Paul Jensen officiating. Burial will follow in St. Matthew's Cemetery, Upper LaHave. Family flowers only. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the South Shore Regional Hospital or LaHave Island Marine Museum.
