George Venice Wilneff 2005 Halifax Chronicle Herald >From the collection of Charlene Veinotte George Venice Wilneff, 74, Northwest, passed away on Saturday, July 16, 2005, in the VG Site, QEII, Halifax. Born in Riverport, he was the son of the late Venice and Althea (Conrad) Wilneff. George was employed for 40 years as a sheet metal worker with Atlantic Bridge, Lunenburg. He was an avid woodworker and enjoyed his family cottage. He was a member of Central United Church, Lunenburg. He will be greatly missed by all those who knew him. He is survived by his wife, the former Shirley Spindler; daughters, Nancy (Scott) Miller, Gillam, Manitoba; Kathy (Michael) Mulle, Blockhouse; son, David, Halifax; brother, Robert, Oakhill; grandchildren, Zackary, Cassandra, Barrett, Jennifer, and Jonathan. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Dana L. Sweeny Funeral Home, Lunenburg, where the memorial service will be held on Thursday at 2 p.m. with Rev. Grace Caines-Corkum officiating. Interment will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Central United Church Organ Fund, Canadian Cancer Society or to a charity of your choice.
