Vera Belle Joudrey 2005 Halifax Chronicle Herald >From the collection of Charlene Veinotte Vera Belle Joudrey, 98, Shelburne, formerly of Liverpool, passed away November 10, 2005, in Roseway Hospital. Born at Broad Cove, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Selena (Conrad) Borgel. She was a school teacher and also a secretary at Bowater Mersey. Vera was an active member of Trinity Anglican Church and the Progressive Conservative Party. She is survived by her nieces, Betty (Ron) Johnson, Antigonish; Leila (Gary) Taylor, Broad Cove; and nephew, Harley (Eileen) Borgel, Elmsdale. She was predeceased by her husband, William; brothers, Clifford and Obed; nephews, Robert and Merrill. Visitation will be held today from 10-11 a.m., followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m., both in Trinity Anglican Church, Liverpool, Rev. Gary Alcock officiating, assisted by Rev. Don Ruggles. Burial to follow in Trinity Anglican Church Cemetery, Church Street, Liverpool. Family flowers only. Donations may be made to Trinity Anglican Church, Liverpool or a charity of choice.
