Lawrence D. Whynot 2005 Halifax Chronicle Herald >From the collection of Charlene Veinotte Lawrence D. Whynot, 68, Milton, died Friday, October 7, 2005, in Queens General hospital, Liverpool. Born in Liverpool, he was the son of the late Clarence and Beatrice (Slauenwhite) Whynot. He was an engine fitter for Stenpro for over 25 years and loved the woods. He is survived by his wife, the former Elizabeth "Betty" Anthony; daughters, Erin (Jeff) Ingram of Mersey Point; Sharon (Tim Parnell) of Liverpool; son, Lawrence Jr. "Larry" (Wendy) of Milton; five grandchildren; sisters, Carrie Oickle of Bridgewater; Sandra (Arnold) Johnson of Coldbrook; brothers, James (Jessie) and Norman (Hazel), both of Milton; John, Paul (Shirley), Stanley, and Carl (Marilyn), all of Liverpool. He was predeceased by sister, Maria White and a brother in infancy. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers' Funeral Home, Liverpool. A graveside funeral service will be held in Milton Community Cemetery on Tuesday, October 11, at 10 a.m., Rev. Douglas Porter officiating. No flowers by request.
