Gabriel Rescholyar Whynott 1958 Bridgewater Bulletin The death of Gabriel Rescholyar Whynott, a highly respected citizen, took place at his home in New Germany on Saturday, December 20th, 1958. He was born and lived all his life at his home in New Germany and was only sick for two weeks previous to his death. He was born seventy-three years ago, the youngest son of Edmund and Sophia (Tipert) Whynott. He is survived by his wife, the former Irene Eisnor; and one son, Gerald of Halifax; three sisters, Mrs. Cora Seamone, Stanley Section; Mrs. Adelaide Seamone, Bridgewater; Mrs. Effie Morton, New Germany; and one brother, George of New Germany. He was a member of the Epworth United Church, New Germany, from which the funeral service was conducted by Rev. Morris A. Barss. Mrs. George Zwicker was organist and the hymns sung were "Jesus, Saviour, Pilot Me" and "Unto The Hills." The pall bearers were Kenneth Seamone, Fred Seamone, Douglas Morton, Willie Whynott, Harold Burns, and Gilbert Veinot.
