Gwelyn Dorothy Herman 2005 Halifax Chronicle Herald >From the collection of Charlene Veinotte Gwelyn "Dorothy" Herman, 92, South Brookfield, passed away suddenly November 16, 2005, in Meadowbrook Manor, South Brookfield. Born at Pleasant River, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Ellen (Veinot) Herman. Dorothy was raised and worked on the family farm. In her later working years she worked as a kitchen helper at the North Queens Nursing Home, Caledonia. She is survived by several nieces and nephews and friends at Meadowbrook Manor. She was predeceased by her sisters, Florence, Hazel, May, Grace, Jane; brothers, Claude, Arthur, Rennie, and Irving. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers' Funeral Home, Liverpool. A private family service will take place at a lter date. Donations may be made to S.H.A.I.D. Tree Animal Shelter or charity of choice.
