Lowe, 81, Hillsview Acres, Middlefield, Queens County, formerly of Milton, died September 19, 2000, in the Queens General Hospital, Liverpool. Born in Milton, he was a son of the late Lloyd and Minnie (Carver) Lowe. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He enjoyed playing cards, bingo, and cooking. Surviving are his wife, the former Nora Oickle, Hillsview Acres, formerly of Milton; daughter, Geraldine Cushing, Bridgewater; sons, Richard, Lloyd, Milton, Floyd, Lunenburg; 13 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; sisters, Genevieve Lowe, North Queens Nursing Home; Jean Glasgow, Vancouver. He was predeceased by sisters, Betty West, Geraldine Francis; brothers, Edgar, Alfred, Harold, Maynard. Visitation 7-9 p.m. Thursday, funeral 11 a.m. Friday, both in Chandlers' Funeral Home, Liverpool, Rev. Sheila Smith officiating. Burial in the Milton Community Cemetery.
