Bernard James Hyson 1995 Halifax Chronicle Herald Bernard James Hyson, 77, Milford Station, died February 15, 1995, in Hillcrest Manor Nursing Home, Truro. Born at Simpson's Corner, he was a son of the late Dennis and Eva (Woodworth) Hyson. He was a longtime resident of Milford Station and was a retired employee of L.E. Shaw Limted, Lantz. Surviving are his wife, the former Pearl Murray; daughters, Karen (Mrs. Stephen King), Elmsdale; Bernadine Hyson, Truro; son, Brian, New Glasgow; half-brother, Norman Murphy, Sr., Hantsport; brother, Leo, Pleasantfield; five grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by four sisters and three brothers. Funeral 11 a.m. today in Colchester Community Funeral Home, Willow Street, Truro, Rev. Mike McDonald officiating. Spring burial in Oak Hill Cemetery, Milford Station. In lieu of flowers, donations to Canadian Cancer Society.
