Born in Middlewood, he was a son of the late William Edson and Flora (Teal) Slauenwhite. Surviving are his wife, the former Muriel Clarke; daughters, Debbie (Ian) MacDonald, Wolfville; Tina, Bridgewater; sons, Stanley (Sharon), Rhodes Corner; David (Muriel), Dartmouth; Tony (Lucy), Bridgewater; Corey (Bev), Ontario; sisters, Leona Frank, Bridgewater; Nellie Hubley, Conquerall Mills; Hilda (Roger), Dayspring; brother, Carrol (Helen), Dayspring; granddaughters, Kimberly, Jessica, and Holly; grandson, Lucas; stepgranddaughters, Angelina, Jessica, and Milli; numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brothers, Ross, Delbert, Gordon, and Aubrey; sisters, Gertrude, Irene, Rose, Dorothy, and Rita. Visitation 2-4, 7-9 p.m. Sunday, funeral service 1 p.m. Monday, both in R.A. Corkum Funeral Home, Wileville, Rev. Paul Jensen officiating. Burial in Dayspring Cemetery. Family flowers only.
