UNKNOWN PAPER - MRS. RUFUS MACNUTT July 23, 1958. Barrachois - Aug. 5 The death occurred on Wednesday. July 23, of Mrs. Rufus MacNUTT at her home in Sandville. She had been in ill health for two and one half years. She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. George MacKAY and was born at Earltown 88 years ago. She was predeceased by her husband several years ago and is survived by three sons, Sterling at home, Ray in Blairmore, Alta., and Russel in South Africa, also one granddaughter Margaret. Funeral services were held at the home on Saturday, July 26, at 2 o'clock conducted by Rev. W.N. BYERS of New Annan. Members of the choir led in singing hymns "There is Rest for the Weary" and "Shall we Gather at the River". The floral tributes were beautiful. Pallbearers were Luthur CHAMBERS, Fenton WEATHERBIE, Steward CHAMBERS, Don WEATHEBIE, Harold MacCONNELL and Roland REID. Interment was at Lockerbie's Cemetery.
