Helen Della Snyder 2006 Bridgewater Bulletin Helen Della Snyder, 86, of Upper Branch, passed away on Wednesday, March 22, 2006, in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater, after being cared for so patiently and lovingly by her husband and friends for many years. Born in Upper Branch, she was the daughter of the late Brunswick and Laurena (Oickle) Rhodenizer. She was a member of All Saints' Lutheran Church, Newcombville. She worked in Caledonia and Middleton. She worked hard with her husband to help lay the foundation for the business which is still thriving today. She was an excellent housewife and also travelled around the area doing hairstyling. She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Calvin L. Snyder, Upper Branch; a sister, Emily Turner, Liverpool; two nieces; two nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by a sister, Audrey Wagner and a nephew. The body rested at R.A. Corkum's Funeral Home, Wileville. Funeral service was held on Saturday, March 25, 2006 at 2 p.m. in All Saints' Lutheran Church, Newcombville, with Rev. Scott Schellenberger officiating. Pallbearers were James Barkhouse, Larry Greek, Randy Mailman, Charles Mosher, Vonnie Simpson, and Peter Wagner. Passages were read from the Bible by niece, Bev Snyder; fiddle music by Lorimer Higgins and Wayne Hiltz; and vocalist Bruce Oakes sang "How Great Thou Art" and the organist was Marnie Zwicker.
