Annie Beatrice Ernst 1907-2004 Halifax Chronicle Herald >From the collection of Charlene Veinotte Annie Beatrice Ernst, 96, of Chelsea, formerly of Blockhouse, passed away Tuesday, February 3, 2004, at the South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in Fauxburg, she was the daughter of the late Enos and Sarah (Whitman) Berringer. She was a membe r St. James Anglican Church, Mahone Bay. The last surviving member of her immediate family, she is survived by daughter, Garnice and her husband, J. Douglas Baker, Schnare's Crossing Road, Northwest; son, Lloyd and his wife, Melba, Oakhill; five grandchildren, Kevin and David, Schnare's Crossing; Darryl, Ottawa; Wendy (Kevin) Emino, Wentzell's Lake; Krisanne, Montreal; two step-great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Uriel; grandson, Kerry Lynn Baker; sister, Minnie Mossman; brothers, Harvey, Hughie, and Howard. Visitation was held Thursday, February 5, at Mahone Funeral Home. Funeral service was held 2 p.m. on Friday, February 6 at St. James Anglican Church, Mahone Bay with Rev. Ian Wissler officiating. Interment was in Garden of Rest Cemetery, Blockhouse.
