Evelyn Dorothy Rita Whynacht 2001 Halifax Chronicle Herald Published: Thursday, November 22, 2001. >From the collection of Gwen Christie Evelyn Dorothy Rita Whynacht, 69, 58 Cumberland Street, Lunenburg, died Tuesday, November 20, 2001, in Fishermen's Memorial Hospital, Lunenburg. Born in Montreal, she was a daugher of the late Frank and Violet (Axtell) Zinck. She worked for many years in the bakery department of Lunenburg Save Easy and later at Scotia Trawler Foodmaster. After retiring, she opened her own business, Sincerely Yours Cakes and Supplies. Evelyn was a member of St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, Lunenburg. She is survived by daughter, Cindy Whynacht, Lunenburg; son, Randy and wife Susan, Lunenburg; brother, Donald Zinck, Lecolle, Quebec; grandsons, Shaun Whynacht and Marco Massey. She was predeceased by her husband, Lawrence; sisters, Shirley Malloy, Violet Dunlop; brothers, Stanley, Murray. Memorial service willl be 3 p.m. Saturday in Dana L. Sweeny Funeral Home, Lunenburg, Rev. Laurence Mawhinney officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or to any charity.
