John Courtney Veinot 1994 Halifax Chronicle Herald John Courtney Veinot, 63, Simpson's Corner, died October 31, 1994, in Upper Branch. Born in Hemford, he was a son of the late Maurice and Belle (Whynot) Veinot. He is survived by his companion, Margaret Leary; sister, Lillian MacKay, Hemford; half-sister, Edna Ohmert, Sherman, Texas; brothers, Foster, Elsma, both of Hemford; Royden, Weston, Ontario. He was predeceased by a half-brother, Clifford. Visitation will be 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today in R.A. Corkum Funeral Home, Wileville, where a private family funeral will be 10 a.m. Thursday, Rev.
