Arthur Carlyle Hebb 2004 Halifax Chronicle Herald Published: Thursday, July 29, 2004. >From the collection of Gwen Christie Arthur Carlyle Hebb, 92, Harbour View Haven Home for Special Care, Lunenburg, died July 28, 2004, in the home. Born at Hebb's Cross, he was a son of the late John Solomon and Lavinia "Winnie" (Hebb) Hebb. He was a member of St. Matthew's Presbyterian Church, Conquerall Mills. He was retired from C.N.R. after 25 years of service. He was a veteran of the Second World War. Surviving are his wife, the former Hilda Croft, Harbour View Haven, Lunenburg; daughter, Anne (David) Oickle, LaBelle; son, Boyd (Inez) Upper Northfield; grandchildren, Deanne (Craig) Kelley, Lower Branch; Trina Oickle, Dartmouth; Christopher (Mary Ann), Upper Northfield; Jodi Hebb (Mike Kelly), Halifax County; great-grandchildren, Hannah and Mariah Kelley, Jadzia Hebb; numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brothers, Carmen and Thomas; sister, Marion. No visitation at the funeral home. Memorial service 11 a.m. Friday in R.A. Corkum Funeral Home, Wileville. Burial at a later date. Family flowers only. Memoiral donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, St. Matthew's Cemetery Fund Conquerall Mills, Harbour View Haven or any charity.
