Deborah Ann Publicover 2006 Halifax Chronicle Herald Published: Friday, June 23, 2006. >From the collection of Gwen Christie Deborah Ann Publicover, 44, Blandford, died Wednesday, June 21, 2006, as a result of a motor vehicle accident. Born in Halifax, she was a daughter of Charles and Shirley (Maltus) DeMone. She is survived by her husband, Tyrill and her sweet girls, Alisha and Julia, at home; brother, Robert (Pam), Halifax; sister, Cathy (Edward) Publicover, Five Island Lake; many nieces and nephews. Debbie was employed for 27 years in the sales tax departments of the Provincial and Federal Governments. She was active in her community and a membr of the Blandford and Area Fire Auxiliary, Aspotogan Recreation Association, and the Board of Directors of Blandford Community Centre. She loved reminiscing about days of the Shack, enjoyed reading, dancing, and community socials, and her love of animals found Debbie visiting the exhibitions and fall fair each year. Visitation will be held 6-9 p.m. today in Ronald A. Walker Funeral Home, Hubbards. Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday in St. Barnabas Church, Blandford, Rev. Laura McCue officiating. Burial to follow in the parish cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the SPCA or Christmas Daddies.
