Hulda Penney 2000 Halifax Chronicle Herald Published: Saturday, April 15, 2000. >From the collection of Gwen Christie Hulda Penney, 89, Emmitsburg, Maryland, passed away April 13, 2000. Born at Northeast Point, Shelburne County, she was a daughter of the late Captain Wallace and Bernice (Goodwin) Penney. As a young girl she joined the Sisters of Notre Dame and lived most of her life with them at Ilchester, Maryland. Her names there was Sister Helen Ignatius. She spent those many years in God's service. Surviving ais brother, Finley, Halifax. She was predeceased by brothers, Morton, Ross; sisters, Annie Eusedia, Jessie, Gertrude. Burial in Ilchester Monday, April 17.
